My Destiny…..

•April 19, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Today I was asked to write a comment/post on do you control your destiny? Well it is Yes and No for me.  I think that because, sometimes I control my destiny sometimes I don’t.  Why? Because if I make mistakes which everybody does a parent or teacher or even somebody that is just older than me comes along and takes control, takes control until they are sure that I can keep going on with my destiny.

I think that I control my destiny because like I said before I control my destiny until I mess up or can’t figure something out.  That’s when the elders or the people come along to help out.

What am I doing to steer my life to my destiny?  I am trying to do everything I can to steer my life to a better one.  I am working as hard as I can to keep my grades up.  Why? Because your whole career/destiny depends on your grades, because if I get good grades than I will probably get a better job and if I get a better job than I get a better house.  The more right choices I make, the better chance I will reach my destiny.  So will you if you make right choices.

What is Your Potential?

•April 13, 2010 • 2 Comments

What is your Potential?  Are you giving your best?  Well I know that I’m not.  Like when Brock thought he could give his best and got to the 50, but without knowing were he was Brock made it to the 100 yard line.  How far do you think you could go?  How far can you really go?

I think anybody that is determined to do stuff can give their best (they could go to the 100 yd line).  I think that my potential on the potentiometer is not even half way there.  I think I do a good job and think I’m way up there on the meter but I’m really not.  Although there are some many things that most anybody could to go up on the meter.

What is your potential are you really giving your best?  Well if you’re not than you need to coach yourself to.

Responsibility in our school

•March 26, 2010 • 7 Comments

I have seen so many people at Laurelvlle elementary that need to be included.  I have seen so many people show responsibility to other people.  Like last year in fifth grade at recess Cody L. helped Jason and Cody help to get them in line to go to lunch.  I noticed the next day that there were a lot of people who went to help Jason and Cody help get to lunch.  It’s like Kindness is contagious.

It’s all over our school.  Like when Ian and Eric and Josh and myself put the new monitors and new keyboards and mouses.  I noticed that when they started almost everybody wanted to help put the computers  in place.  Another way Kindness is contagous.

If you somebody help somebody you should do the same.  Spread the kindness make it contagious.

What makes me want to keep reading

•March 20, 2010 • 1 Comment

Have your been forced to do something you know isn’t right but you have to do it?  Well this is what happens to Aiden and Meg in the book On the Run by: Gordon Korman.

We were supposed to write a post for the Reading Workshop.  In this post we were supposed to write what makes me want to keep reading the book.  What makes me want to keep reading this book is because every time a chapter ends and every time I finish one of the books it always leaves a problem at the end.  Every time it does that it makes me want to just keep reading and keep reading.

This book also has lots of suspense, action and adventure.  This book always seems to have one of these things happening in the book .  So every time this happens it makes want keep reading and reading.

This book is a really good book if you like action, suspense and adventure and remember if you read the first book and like it as much as I did you will really want read the rest of the series to figure out the rest.
